About Me Bonjour! I am a native French speaker from Belgium with 18 years of experience living in the USA. I’m the proud owner of a French/Belgian restaurant, where I’ve mentored numerous high school and college students in French cuisine over the past eight years. My Teaching Method and Techniques
My teaching approach is interactive, immersive, and tailored to each student’s learning style and goals. I focus on building a strong foundation in pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar while emphasizing conversational skills through real-life scenarios. I use engaging materials such as songs, stories, and cultural references to make learning fun and meaningful.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson begins with a review of previous material, followed by introducing new concepts through interactive exercises like role-playing, reading, or listening activities. We’ll practice speaking through guided conversations and reinforce grammar with tailored exercises. I also assign light homework to support continuous learning outside of class.
