About Yael
Hello!
My name is Yael Brouard, I am 18 years old, and I am from France. I currently live in France and speak French every day with my family and friends. Next year, I will be moving to Santa Barbara to study Finance.
I am an outgoing and open-minded person who enjoys meeting new people, discovering different cultures, and building meaningful connections. I love sports, social activities, and spending time with others. I am easygoing, adaptable, and always eager to learn new things and take on new experiences.
I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable and practical. My goal is not only to teach French grammar and vocabulary, but also to help students understand how French people actually communicate in everyday life, including common expressions, cultural insights, and natural conversations.

As a native French speaker from France, I offer personalized French lessons focused on real-life communication, confidence, and practical language skills. Unlike traditional courses that mainly focus on grammar and memorization, my lessons are designed to help students understand how French is actually spoken in everyday life.
Whether you are learning French for travel, school, work, or personal interest, I will adapt each lesson to your goals and level. We can work on conversation, pronunciation, listening comprehension, vocabulary, French culture, and common expressions used by native speakers.
My objective is to create a relaxed and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing and improving their French. Lessons are available online or in person in Santa Barbara and Isla Vista.
