About Jane

Bonjour! A little about me: I am originally from France. I have lived in the US for 18 years and in 2015 I moved to Hampshire. My husband is American and I have 2 sons. I have been tutoring French (to French and non-French speakers) and English (to French speakers) on and off for the last 25 years. I worked as a French teacher for Berlitz Language Centres and was a French substitute teacher in private schools in the US. I have also worked for Nestlé as a French tutor for expatriate children. If you need extra help with your French exams, your school homework, if you are looking for someone to teach you French or a native French speaker to practise your French with, please contact me. A bientôt!

About the lesson

I use a variety of teaching tools: books, videos and audio. If you have a preferred one, just let me know. I am very flexible and here to help you achieve your goals. I always try to make you feel at ease and encourage you. I understand your challenges as I've been there myself! Here's some of the feedback I've had from students: "Very pleasant, patient and understanding. I feel comfortable and able to ask questions without worrying" "Jane, is very patient, and supportive. It would be hard to find someone better. Highly recommended."
