About Hany

About Me Bonjour! My name is Nani and I am a native French and Tahitian speaker from French Polynesia. I have lived, studied and worked around the world, which has given me not only a passion for languages but also a natural ability to connect with people from different backgrounds. I want to teach French because I know how exciting and life-changing it is to learn another language. For me, it is not only about grammar and vocabulary but about sharing culture, confidence and real-life communication. I love seeing students progress, gain confidence, and enjoy the process of learning. With more than ten years of experience in hospitality, tourism and administration, I have developed strong communication and teaching skills. I am patient, adaptable and creative, which means I can make lessons fun, practical and tailored to each student’s goals. Whether you are learning French for travel, school, business or just for fun, I will support you every step of the way and make sure you feel comfortable and motivated.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring I believe learning a language should be practical, enjoyable and adapted to real life. My approach is based on conversation, interaction and cultural context rather than just memorizing grammar rules. I like to use everyday situations, role plays, tourism and hospitality examples, and even French songs or stories to make the lesson engaging. Techniques & Methodology: I adapt to each student’s goals and level. For beginners, I start with simple vocabulary, pronunciation and basic conversation. For more advanced learners, I focus on fluency, confidence and specific goals (travel, school exams, professional French, etc.). I also integrate cultural elements from both France and Tahiti to make learning authentic and fun. Lesson Length: A typical lesson lasts 1 hour, but I can also do 30-minute intensive conversation sessions or longer 90-minute classes depending on the student’s needs. Qualifications & Experience: I am a native French, Tahitian and Paumotu speaker, fluent in English, with over 10 years of professional experience in luxury hospitality, tourism, administration and international environments. I am currently completing an RPL assessment for a Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB50420) and a Diploma of Travel and Tourism Management (SIT50122). I also have experience training and supervising multicultural teams, which gives me strong communication and teaching skills. Who my lessons are for: • Beginners who want to start learning French in a simple, practical way • Travelers preparing for a trip to France, Tahiti or any French-speaking country • Students needing support for school or exams • Adults wanting conversation practice or professional French (hospitality, tourism, business) • Children (fun and interactive lessons with games and activities)
