About Freya

Bonjour! I'm Freya, I was born and raised in France, and I am now living and working in Melbourne. Having lived in a foreign country myself where I did not speak the language, I know how challenging learning a new language can be. Especially if that language sounds nothing like your mother tongue! But don't panic, the good news is, it's completely doable! The secret is immersion and practice. Which is why I would love to offer you a native French speaker tutoring experience, and take your French skills to the next level!

About the lesson

Whether you are studying for a test, just want to learn conversational French, need to learn French for business, or even if you are a complete beginner, each person is different, therefore each lesson is different. Every session will be tailored to your level and your goals.

One lesson will typically last an hour (it can also be 30/45 minutes if you feel like an hour is too much).

I know what it takes to learn a new language, and everybody has their own rhythm! I will take all the time necessary to make sure you reach your goals.

I will focus on using real-life examples and situations, adapted to your needs. I can prepare exercises based on the skills you wish to work on (reading, writing, oral/written comprehension, conjugation...).
My goal is to help you feel confident, and to create a safe and encouraging space where you know you can make as many mistakes as you need (it's all part of the process!).
I know learning a new language comes with its challenges, but it's also super fun and rewarding, so let's get started!
