About Priscillia

Bonjour! My name is Priscillia, I am 33 years old living in Sydney, Australia (Inner West). I was born and raised in a small village 1h away from Lyon, close to the mountains and Switzerland. I came to Sydney 12 years ago on holidays and never left! I think that Australia is an amazing country to live in. I am a pet lover (I have a cat and a dog) and I am also a mom to a very active 4 years old boy. I work as a French teacher for children in daycare centers but also in Community centers where I teach French in a very fun way to parents/toddlers/babies classes.

About the lesson

I know what it’s like to learn a new language, how difficult and stressful it can be. I am here to help you start or continue this journey, step by step, in a fun and warm environment. During our first lesson we will go through what methodology really works for you, what doesn't work, what you like and the reasons why you are learning French. Depending on what you want, we will adapt to create a personalized program! You're the boss, if you don't like something, simply tell me and we will change it! Oh and please don't apologize for your pronunciation or the mistakes that you make. I have been living in Australia for over 10 years now and I still make lots of mistakes in English, and you will hear it, I still have a strong accent! I can’t wait to get to know you better and create a lesson that is adapted to your liking and skills.

Perfect! Amazing experience and was glad that Priscillia was able to slow down at my pace and understood where I hesitated and what my requirements were. Being a facilitator in a different industry, I think it is important to breakdown complex material and slowdown the pace when the audience is learning new information. Priscillia did just that and best of all, my first set of homework was not pages but 1 activity. I was not overwhelmed by it all and hence looking to take another baby step in learning the language.
