About Yannis
Hi! I’m a student in Montreal and a French speaker who is passionate about languages. I learned English and Spanish on my own, so I understand what it feels like to learn a new language from the student’s perspective.
Because of my own experience, I know that learning a language is not only about memorizing grammar rules. It is also about practicing, making mistakes, building confidence, and finding methods that work for you.
My lessons are personalized according to each student's level and goals. We can focus on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, writing, or everyday French, depending on what you want to improve.
My teaching style is patient, friendly, and practical. I want my students to feel comfortable speaking French without being afraid of making mistakes. I can also share some of the techniques and habits that helped me learn languages independently.
Lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, teenagers, adults, and students who need help with French at school.
My goal is to make French easier, more practical, and more enjoyable while helping you become more confident with every lesson.

A typical lesson starts with a short conversation or review of the previous lesson. We then work on a specific topic or skill through exercises, examples, and conversation. I always leave time at the end to review what we learned and answer any questions.
What sets me apart is my patience and my ability to create a comfortable environment where students can practice French without being afraid of making mistakes. My goal is not only to teach French, but also to help students become more confident when speaking it.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, teenagers, adults, and students who want help with French at school. I can also adapt lessons for students who mainly want to improve their speaking and everyday French.
