About Sossane
I was born and raised in France and moved to the US about 7 years ago (2011). I graduated from UC Davis as a Biological Sciences major, but I have had tutoring experience for one year in high school for a French class. I am very passionate about teaching French to all age groups. I understand that French is not an easy language which is why I am not going to rush through the materials, and I will make sure that students understand the material before moving on. I am confident that I will be able to increase knowledge of the French language to anyone who is motivated to learn French.

My techniques of instruction consists of picking a theme for each lesson. For example " en ville", "au café", " dans la cuisine" etc. for each theme, I will be going over the vocabulary words related to the theme. I will also be going over some verb tenses during each lesson (present, past, future tense, etc..). Practice will be given. I will also be going over pronunciation. I am pretty flexible on what I teach so if the students wants to go over something specific, I will be more than happy to go over it. I want to make sure that I create a comfortable learning environment for everyone.
