About Persé

Hi! My name is Persé, I'm 20, grew up in paris. I moved to the UK a couple of years ago for my studies.
I have been providing tutoring classes since i've been 15 in a range of topics. I started teaching younger children who were learning how to read, and have since made my way to teach people of all levels and ages. I have studied French, English and American litterature, and am now completing a World Philosophies degree at SOAS. I believe in a gentle approach to teaching, where the most important is to build a strong foundation for you to feel confident in your ability to speak, read, or explore the topic.
I'm able to also provide support in a range of topics, up to GSCE level:
English literature, Mathematics, Physics, Theater, and Methodology.
Classes with me are pressure free, as i believe the only environment conducive to learning is one where you can feel comfortable making as many mistakes as you need, without ever diminishing you in correction.

About the lesson

In studying with me you can expect to:
1. Practice conversational french, work on vocabulary extension through simple exercices or depth reading. So you can feel confident interacting with any native speaker.
2. Improve your formal language and written speech, practice writing essays. We will approch this through topics of interest to you, as that is the best way for you to engage with new vocabulary.
3. If you study french in classes, I can offer support to be at the top pf your class.
4. Improve your reading level, through many different formats. Often i start with poetry, as bilingual editions of poems allow great depth of understanding in the complexities of both french and english.

Additionally, if you would like, i can provide you with my personal contact, if you have any questions regarding new vocabulary or grammar you encounter in conversation or personal reading
