About Candice

- Dual citizen of France and the U.S. and native French speaker teaches French language at all levels. Grew up in Southern France and lived in France for 25 years.

- Extensive previous teaching experience: taught English as a second language to children, teenagers, and adults in Paris. Taught probabilities and statistics to undergraduate students at the Sorbonne in Paris.

- I'm professional, kind, and understand that learning takes time. I also believe that building confidence is important when learning a new language and strive to create a safe and fun space for everyone to enjoy the learning process.

About the lesson

- Teaching methods depend on the student's goals and age. With children, I usually make the lesson interactive with coloring, singing, and role-playing. With teenagers, I can go over class lessons and help them understand grammar rules, learn vocabulary, and become more comfortable with speaking and writing French. I provide parents with a small written progress report at the end of each session. With adults, lessons can range from regular conversations to improving reading and writing skills.
