About Cassandre

Originally from the South of France, I have a passion for languages and culture. For several years, I worked as a journalist and TV host, which taught me how to communicate clearly, tell stories, and make complex ideas simple and engaging. I now use those same skills to help students feel confident and motivated when learning French. I understand the challenges of learning a new language. My teaching is interactive and practical, with real-life conversations and cultural insights. I am patient, professional, and committed to helping every student reach their goals — whether it’s passing an exam, preparing for travel, or speaking French with confidence in daily life.

About the lesson

I am a native French speaker with a strong academic and professional background in communication and media. With more than five years of experience as a journalist, TV host, and producer, I have mastered the art of storytelling, pedagogy, and making complex ideas accessible to a wide audience. I am also fluent in English and hold a Literature Baccalaureate with an American International Option (OIB) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. Having lived, studied, and worked in both France and the United States, I understand the cultural nuances that help learners not only study the language but also grasp the French way of thinking and communicating. My experience mentoring junior journalists has prepared me to guide students with patience, creativity, and efficiency. Practical Communication: Role-plays, conversations, and simulations (ordering at a café, interviewing, debates). Media & Culture: Using French news reports, music, films, and literature extracts to make learning lively and authentic. Progressive Structure: Clear lessons on grammar and vocabulary, immediately applied in real-life contexts. Personalized Support: Adapting lessons to each student’s goals—academic, professional, or personal.
