About Sylvain

I’m a native French speaker from France with 16 years of professional experience at Airbus. I started my career as a technician and later took on training, mentoring and team management responsibilities.

Throughout my career, I trained and supported colleagues, acted as a tutor, coached people in their professional development and managed teams of up to 13 people.
I have always enjoyed explaining things, sharing knowledge and helping people move forward.

Outside of work, I also enjoy practical subjects such as mechanics and DIY, and I have traveled extensively.

I now want to use my experience in communication, training and mentoring to help motivated people improve their French in a way that suits their own goals and personality.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalized around your level, goals and interests.
Whether you want to improve your conversation, pronunciation, grammar or written French, prepare for a trip to France, or become more confident using French in a professional context, we will focus on what is most useful to you.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes. Rather than following the same format for everyone, I adapt each session to the person in front of me.
Depending on your needs, we can focus more on speaking, explanations, corrections, written French or a combination of these. I can also explain things in English when necessary, particularly for beginners.

I am a native French speaker with 16 years of professional experience at Airbus. During my career, I worked as a trainer and tutor, coached colleagues in their professional development, regularly presented to groups and managed teams of up to 13 people. This experience taught me how to listen, explain clearly and adapt the way I communicate to different people.

My lessons are for motivated adults who want to make real progress in French, whether they are beginners, already have some experience, are preparing to travel to a French-speaking country, or want to improve their French for professional or personal reasons.

My aim is to provide a relaxed and supportive environment where you feel comfortable speaking, asking questions and making mistakes, while progressively becoming more confident and natural in French.
