About Celine

Whether you’re a complete beginner, building on what you already know, or aiming for advanced fluency, I’ll meet you where you are and help you progress step by step.

I’m Celine, originally from France, and I’ve been living in the UK for over 20 years. My career background is in programme and project management, where I’ve helped people develop skills, confidence, and clarity. Now I bring that same structured, supportive approach to teaching French, with patience, encouragement, and a focus on making progress feel natural.

About the lesson

I teach French in a way that is practical, enjoyable, and tailored to your goals. Lessons are designed to boost confidence and make the language feel accessible, whether you’re preparing for GCSE or A-Level exams, practising oral skills for work or travel, or simply learning for personal growth.

Sessions are usually one hour and focus on real progress: speaking, listening, and using the language in ways that feel relevant to you. I create a relaxed, supportive environment where mistakes are part of the process, not something to fear. Lessons are available online or in person (in and around Faringdon, Oxfordshire) Whatever works best for your lifestyle!

Perfect! Highly recommend Celine especially if you're looking for help with A levels. I have gone from grade C to A in just over a month with Celine's help.

She identified my weaknesses and tailored the lessons around my needs. Celine's methods of teaching have helped me grow in confidence with listening, speaking and formulating answers.
I've found her powerpoints very useful when revising, she has provided me with all the content that I needed to know.

Celine explains things in a way that actually makes sense, especially when you’re stuck and not really getting it in class. She’s patient but also makes sure you don’t just sit there doing nothing.

Lessons are relaxed but still focused, and she helps you build confidence without it feeling stressful. I’ve improved a lot in understanding and speaking since working with her.

In-person lessons are available in and around Faringdon at no extra cost.

For travel further afield, I simply add a small £10 supplement to cover time and fuel. Online lessons remain at the standard hourly rate.

Whichever option you choose, lessons are designed to be flexible, approachable, and easy to fit around your schedule.
