My students have been adult for the most part but I don't mind teaching people of any age. The younger you are, the easiest it is to learn a new language.
I structure my lessons based on the interests and goals of my students. I think it is important to customize my teaching style and lesson contents to each individual students so they can get the most out of it.
My goal is to make every session fun and engaging so that the materials can be learned in the most natural way for a specific student.
I am originally from France. I have been in the US 18 years where I earned 2 college degrees. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science as well as a Bachelor of Science in International Studies. Over the past 13 years, I built 2 successful companies in electronics and apparel.
I taught conversational French for 2 years in college at Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, GA while also on the Tennis team.
I was allowed to create my own curriculum which I used to help my students get a better understanding of the language so they could have conversations with native French speakers.
During my two years of teaching at SPSU, I taught 5 classes a week, each with roughly 20-30 adult students.
I like making things fun and engaging so students can relate to the materials and learn faster in a more relaxed environment.
