About Karim

I am a junior in High School, and I have taught for a couple of years to students ranging from the age of 6-13. Although I found it hard to teach younger kids as they were easily distracted, it helped me become a more patient and understanding tutor, as it taught me how to deal with unmotivated or distracted students. Despite the challenges that I faced, I was able to achieve my goal which is to share the beautiful french language and culture with others.

About the lesson

My philosophy for teaching is to be patient while also clearly explaining the material in ways that can help clarify ideas that the student does not understand. Another important idea that I stay true to, is that not all students learn in the same way, and that one has to be much more patient and understanding with some than with others. These ideas and techniques have helped me teach even the most unmotivated children who hated the idea of having to be tutored.
