About Véronique
As a highly skilled French teacher, my qualifications align with my unique Franco-Ontarian background. I am a native French speaker. I value diversity, inclusion and providing a safe, non-judgmental space for ALL communities.
Growing up in the Greater Toronto Region, my elementary, secondary and postsecondary education have exclusively been in French (french-first language schools and the University of Ottawa). I began teaching French in my local community in 2017 and recently graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2022, obtaining my Bachelor of Social Sciences. (Baccalauréat en Sciences sociales).
I am knowledgeable about the Ontario French Core & French Immersion Curriculums. I can assist with advanced-level French, including essay writing . Finally, I have helped various adults to succeed in the DELF exam (official diploma awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the French language competency of candidates outside of France).

The adults and children I have worked with throughout my years of teaching have had a wide array of different backgrounds.
Adults, newcomers to Canada, immersion students, core french students, students with IEPs, etc. If you are looking to take your French communication, grammar, writing and reading skills to the next level please contact me. I am open to strategizing and finding new methods to kick-start your confidence in French!
I teach all levels, from kindergarten-Grade 12 and adults. Specialized DELF courses are also available.
