About Margot

Bonjour! I’m Margot, a native French speaker from Belgium with a real passion for languages and teaching. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Translation, a Master’s in Multilingual Communication, and a Master’s in Teaching French. I’ve worked as a French teacher for two years in Belgium and spent another year teaching in Spain, helping students discover the joy of learning French. These experiences have shaped my teaching style — patient, motivating, and flexible — with a strong focus on communication and confidence. In my lessons, you’ll feel supported and encouraged to speak from day one. I create a friendly and structured environment where making mistakes is part of the learning process. My goal is to help you progress quickly while enjoying every step of the journey. And if regular lessons aren’t quite what you’re after, I’d be more than happy to simply chat with you in French about any topic you like — a relaxed way to practice and improve your French while having a good time! About the lesson

My lessons usually last about an hour, but I’m always happy to adjust depending on your needs and goals. Every student is different, so I focus on creating lessons that are flexible, engaging, and relevant to your interests — whether you’re learning for travel, study, work, or just for fun. I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching French, as well as a Bachelor in Translation and a Master in Multilingual Communication. I’ve worked as a teacher for two years in Belgium and also taught French in Spain for a year, so I’m experienced with learners from all backgrounds and levels. In class, I use a communicative and student-centered approach — that means lots of speaking practice, real-life situations, and personalized activities to help you feel confident using French from the very first lesson. Grammar and vocabulary are always taught in context, and I make sure to balance accuracy with fluency. My lessons are open to all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. Whether you want to improve your pronunciation, grammar, writing, or conversation skills, I’ll adapt the pace and materials to suit you. Learning French should be enjoyable — I aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where you can progress at your own rhythm and actually have fun while learning!
