About Sophie

**Bonjour! **

My name is Sophie, and I’m a native French speaker originally from France. I have been living in the United States for the past 10 years, and I hold a Master’s degree.

Languages and education have always been a big part of my life. I have raised my own children with three languages and understand firsthand the joy—and the challenges—of helping children develop multiple languages.

For the past year, I have also been teaching French to children and helping them build confidence and enjoy learning the language. In addition, I work in a school supporting English learners, which has given me even more experience working with children from different backgrounds and adapting to different learning needs.

I myself speak three languages.

I’m passionate about French language and culture, and I love creating lessons that are encouraging, interactive, and adapted to each student. My goal is not only to teach French, but to help my students feel comfortable using it and develop a genuine love for the language. ️

**Learn French in a Fun, Engaging, and Personalized Way! **

As a native French speaker with a Master’s degree and 10 years of experience living in the United States, I love helping children and families discover the French language and culture.

I have been teaching French to children for the past year and have extensive personal experience raising my own children with three languages. I also work in a school supporting English learners, which has given me valuable experience helping children develop language skills in a patient and encouraging environment.

My lessons are personalized to each student’s age, level, personality, and goals. For children, I incorporate games, stories, songs, activities, conversation, and age-appropriate learning materials to make French enjoyable and memorable.

Whether your child is a complete beginner, already has some French knowledge, or you simply want to give them or yourself the gift of another language, I would love to help them build confidence and develop a genuine love for French!
