About Celia

I am a native French speaker who has lived and worked internationally for over 20 years, which means I understand first-hand the challenges and rewards of learning another language. In 2020, I earned my CAVILAM–Alliance Française certificate in Teaching French as a Foreign Language and since then I have supported learners of all ages and levels in building confidence and fluency. Alongside teaching, I work as a bilingual therapist and coach, where communication, empathy and clear explanations are essential. These skills translate directly into my tutoring style: patient, encouraging and always adapted to the student’s pace. I offer lessons that are structured but flexible, designed to keep you progressing while also making the learning process enjoyable. Whether you are preparing for exams, learning for work or simply want to speak French with confidence, I bring both professional training and a genuine passion for helping people succeed.

About the lesson

Learning French should feel fun and motivating, not overwhelming. My lessons are always tailored to you, whether you want to improve conversation for travel, polish your grammar for exams or finally feel confident speaking in everyday situations. I like to mix clear explanations with lots of practice: we’ll chat, read, listen and play with the language so you start thinking in French, not just memorising rules. Most lessons last about an hour, but we can adjust if you prefer shorter sessions for focus or longer ones for deep practice. I’m a native French speaker and certified by the CAVILAM–Alliance Française de Vichy in teaching French as a foreign language. I’ve worked with complete beginners, rusty returners and advanced learners who want to perfect their accent. My classes are for all ages and levels from school students to professionals or anyone who just loves the idea of learning French at their own pace.
