About Pierre-Yves
I am a passionate person: when I love something, I concentrate all my efforts to go to the end of what I undertake. This concerns the subjects that teaching, of course, but also sport (I run twice a week, go to work by bike), history, literature and a wide variety of subjects (economics, computer science, sociology, etc.).
If I had to summarise the philosophy that guides me, I would say that happiness is the main thing. It sounds simple, but life is full of moments that lead us to choose or not to choose happiness, and the choice is rarely as obvious as one might think.

Nothing beats the fluency and ease of a native French speaker! At ease both in writing (20/20 in the French baccalaureate exam) and in speaking (regularly noticed in France for the quality of its oral presentations), I am keen to help my dear British neighbours to improve in the language of Verlaine.
The range of possibilities is very wide - grammar and vocabulary exercises, oral and written comprehension, debates - and I can easily adapt to the student.
A lesson lasts an hour or two.
