About Cosima

I have just completed my BSc Psychology undergraduate degree from Exeter University where I achieved a 2:1. I have been raised bilingual with a German/Austrian mother and and English father, this resulted in me living in Austria for 2 years where I went to a German speaking school. I completed German A level where I examined an array of German literature. Furthermore, I rigorously learnt about current German politics, the history of Germany including West and East Germany and how Germany was rebuilt post World War 2.

About the lesson

My lesson structure all depends on the age and level I am teaching my student. I am able to teach from a basic level up to A- level standard. I take an active approach to lessons making sure students are mentally engaged and are vocally practicing the language and the skills required to speak fluently. A chatty, bubbly person I aim to make my lessons not only academically rigorous but also fun and compelling. I am very flexible with the duration of tutoring and can decide individually on how best to tailor the lessons including length, information being taught and how to maximise student enjoyment and engagement.
