About Bella

My name is Bella, and I am a native German speaker and aspiring physician currently living in New York City. I bring a structured, thoughtful approach to tutoring shaped by my academic and medical training, while keeping lessons engaging and relevant.
Outside of teaching, I love cooking, traveling, playing the piano, skiing, and exploring new food spots around NYC. These interests often find their way into my lessons, helping students learn German through real-life topics and natural conversation.
I value professionalism, preparation, and clear communication, and I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident and motivated.

Hi,
I’m Bella, a native German speaker and aspiring physician.
My tutoring philosophy is centered on focused, goal-oriented learning. I strongly believe that students learn best when lessons are built around what they actually want and need to use German for, rather than following a one-size-fits-all curriculum.

My teaching is use-based and individualized. Instead of teaching German in isolation, I tailor lessons to your personal goals — whether that’s conversation for travel, academic German, professional communication, or exam preparation. Grammar and vocabulary are introduced only when they serve a practical purpose, helping students immediately apply what they learn.
