About Sofia

Hello, I’m Sofia, a native German speaker who has lived in Ireland for three years. I grew up and studied in Germany, which has given me a strong command of both written and spoken German, as well as a deep understanding of German grammar, structure, and expression. Since I also completed the German Leaving Certificate here in Ireland (100%, H1), I have a unique insight into the specific demands of the Irish exam system. This background allows me to support students effectively, both through a native speaker’s perspective and with an awareness of how English speakers approach language learning.

About the lesson

My lessons take place online and are tailored to your goals and level. Whether you’re preparing for your Junior or Leaving Cert, want to improve your spoken German, or just need help understanding tricky grammar topics, I’m here to help. We can hold the entire lesson in German to strengthen your speaking skills and boost confidence for the LC oral.
