About Aurelia
I'm Aurelia, and I'm half German and half Chinese, so I grew up speaking both languages at home, as well as English. I was born in Germany and lived there for 10 years before moving to the UK, so German is my native language. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE German, alongside strong results across all my GCSEs, and I'm currently studying German, Psychology and Economics at A-level.
I already tutor several younger students at my school, so I'm comfortable working with students of different ages and abilities. I also volunteer at a local charity shop, which has helped me become more reliable, responsible and confident when working with people.
Growing up with three languages has shown me how rewarding it is to be able to communicate across cultures. I'm patient, organised and always well prepared, and my aim is for every student to feel supported, confident and excited to speak German.

Hallo! I'm Aurelia, a native German speaker who grew up in Germany. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE German and am now studying it at A-level, so I understand both the language and the UK exam system. I have also already been tutoring multiple younger peers at my school, so I'm used to explaining topics clearly, adapting to different levels and learning styles, and helping students build their confidence.
My lessons are friendly, patient and tailored to each student. I focus on building confidence through lots of speaking practice, alongside grammar, vocabulary and, for GCSE students, past papers and exam technique.
I teach beginners up to GCSE and lessons are 60 minutes (45 for younger children), in person in Buckinghamshire (I am located in Beaconsfield) or online.
