About Christiane

I am a native German speaker with professional experience teaching adult learners in a structured language training environment. I enjoy helping students build confidence and find a learning approach that works for them, especially when languages have previously felt difficult or frustrating.

My teaching style is calm, clear and adaptable. I focus on breaking down language into manageable steps and creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making progress at their own pace.

I also have training in supporting students with additional learning needs (SEND), which helps me tailor lessons to a wide range of learners and create a positive, understanding learning experience.

I am reliable, well-prepared and attentive to each student’s goals. I aim to make learning German feel accessible, engaging and rewarding, whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve your existing skills.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalised, structured and adapted to each student’s needs and learning style. I focus on creating a calm and supportive environment, especially for learners who find languages challenging or overwhelming.

I use a combination of conversation, targeted exercises and simple visual notes to make key concepts clear and easier to remember. During lessons, I often create quick visual summaries that students can use afterwards for revision.

Lessons are 30/45/60 minutes and include a mix of explanation, practice and review. I also use the chat function to support spelling and written understanding.

I am a native German speaker in the UK with experience teaching adult learners from diverse backgrounds and many different countries in a professional language training setting, and I have training in supporting students with additional learning needs (SEND).

I offer lessons for beginners, GCSE-level students and adults looking to build confidence in speaking and understanding German. I aim to make learning German feel manageable, engaging and rewarding.
