About Gabor
My name is Gabor, originally coming from Hungary. I have German teacher and Philosophy degrees and also started the Grünes Diplom at Goethe Institut. After degrees, I made PhD studies in German for 3 years. I have been living for 11 years in London and have been teaching German ever since in a language school there. I started learning German more than 30 years ago and I am still passionate about that, which means: I keep learning German by reading and listening at my level and keep developing my skills by communicating with native speakers on a regular basis. In order to be able to become an excellent teacher, I need to be an excellent learner. The key to success, in my opinion, is consistency, passion, and a never-give-up attitude, which all I possess and will show and teach my students in every single class. My hobbies are travelling, cooking, reading, watching intellectually challenging movies, and cycling.

I am passionate about language teaching and offer online conversational classes in Hungarian. I am a quite strict teacher with a sense of humour. I will not motivate but inspire, which is a huge difference. There is no grammar teaching in this class; however, the student will be corrected whilst speaking. I will use picture descriptions and role plays and keep asking questions to facilitate the language learning.
