About Diana

Hello! I'm a native Italian Language Instructor specialized in teaching Italian as a Foreign Language (L2).

I am a trained educator with academic qualifications in Pedagogy and Classical Piano Performance. I hold a Master's degree in Classical Piano Performance and I am currently completing my second Master's degree in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language.

Over the years, I have taught both individual learners and groups in a variety of educational settings, including university-level adult education programmes, language courses, and private coaching.

Among my students are professionals, managers, entrepreneurs, executives, university students, and adults learning Italian for personal, academic, or professional reasons.

I understand that many of my students have demanding schedules and ambitious goals. For this reason, I carefully plan each lesson in advance, with clear objectives, structured progression, and attention to detail, ensuring that every session contributes meaningfully to long-term results.

My lessons are tailored to students who value quality, efficiency, and a personalized approach to language learning.

In addition to language teaching, I also have a background in music and piano instruction, which enables me to support musicians, singers, and opera enthusiasts interested in improving their Italian language skills and pronunciation.

My goal is to help you build real confidence in Italian while creating a learning experience that is both structured and motivating.

From June to early August 2027, I will be available for a limited number of personalized Italian Language Immersion Experiences in Italy.
Designed for highly motivated learners, these programmes combine private Italian lessons with cultural exploration and everyday interaction in authentic Italian settings.
Unlike a traditional language course, I personally accompany students during selected parts of their stay, creating natural opportunities to use Italian while visiting cities, attending cultural events, enjoying local cuisine, taking excursions, or participating in other activities aligned with their interests.
Lessons may be scheduled in the morning, afternoon, or integrated throughout the day, allowing students to combine structured study with practical communication in real-life situations.
Every programme is individually designed according to the student's goals, preferred destinations, pace of travel, and personal interests, creating a unique and highly personalized journey through Italy.

Privacy, discretion, and professionalism are of the utmost importance. All personal information, travel plans, and learning objectives are treated confidentially and handled with the utmost respect for each student's privacy.

About the lesson

I offer language lessons that cover all the bases—speaking, listening, writing, and reading. Whether you’re just starting out or you’re already quite advanced, I can tailor the lessons to what you need.

For beginners, I provide Italian lessons that focus on the basics like grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. It’s a great way to get a feel for the language.

If you’re planning a trip to Italy, I offer lessons designed around the practical skills you’ll need, such as ordering food, asking for directions, and making reservations.

In addition, I provide lessons to help you pass the language exam for citizenship. These are tailored specifically to the exam requirements, ensuring you feel confident and fully prepared.

Group lessons are available too, and if you need me on the weekends, just let me know.

For those preparing for the official Italian driving exam, I deliver lessons specifically geared toward this goal, which can be especially useful if you’re planning to move to Italy. The international driving license is valid in Italy for only 12 months; after that, you’ll need an Italian or European driving license to continue driving legally.

I also offer lessons for children! For younger learners, I provide engaging and fun Italian lessons tailored to their age and interests. To tailor the lessons perfectly, I will need to know a bit about the child—such as their hobbies, favorite cartoons or superheroes, sports they enjoy, or any other interests they have. This helps me create materials and activities that are dynamic and relatable, ensuring the lessons are enjoyable and effective. I recommend meeting twice a week for 30 minutes each. This format keeps the lessons fun and helps children retain what they’ve learned.

The price includes everything—the prep for the lesson, the lesson itself, the materials, the VAT, and, if you’d like, weekly feedback on your pronunciation. After each lesson, I’ll send you a PDF containing all the materials, homework, and notes. That way, all you have to do is review and study. Please note that the payment is in euros (€), not in US dollars ($).

My students also gain access to an exclusive Facebook group, where they can find additional support for language learning. This group is private to ensure everyone’s safety and privacy.

I don’t charge for cancelled lessons, but I’d really appreciate it if you could let me know in advance if you can’t make it or if your schedule changes. That way, I can adjust my schedule too.

Lastly, whether you’re in a different place or travelling, I’m flexible with my schedule and can accommodate different time zones.
