About Vittoria

I'm a native Italian speaker and a university student with a passion for languages and teaching. I've been giving private lessons for several years and have experience teaching Italian and English, including to children and teens. Having studied several foreign languages, I know firsthand the difficulties that can arise when learning a new language. That's why I try to explain Italian in a simple and intuitive way, without making grammar unnecessarily complicated. I'm patient, helpful, and enjoy creating a relaxed environment where students can speak and make mistakes without feeling judged. My goal is that, lesson after lesson, Italian becomes less and less something to "study" and more and more a language that students can use spontaneously and confidently.

About the lesson

My Italian lessons are completely personalized based on the student's level, goals, and interests. My goal is to teach Italian that can be used effectively in everyday life, while also covering the grammatical foundations necessary for building a strong command of the language. I pay particular attention to conversation, as I believe that speaking from the very first lesson is one of the best ways to gain confidence and make using the language more natural. Depending on the student's level, I combine guided conversations, grammatical explanations, exercises, reading comprehension, vocabulary, pronunciation, and real-life activities. A typical lesson might begin with a few minutes of conversation and review of previous topics, then introduce a new grammatical or lexical topic and put it into practice immediately through exercises and dialogues. I also use images, texts, games, and interactive materials, especially with younger students, to make lessons more dynamic. I also try to adapt the content to the student's personal interests: travel, Italian culture, school, university, work, or simply everyday situations. This way, grammar and vocabulary are learned within a concrete context. My lessons are aimed at children, teenagers, and adults, particularly beginners and intermediate level students (A1–B2), both those starting from scratch and those who already know Italian and want to improve their conversation, grammar, pronunciation, and speaking confidence.
