About Haruka

I am a passionate and positive teacher with a happy, outgoing personality! I’m dedicated to working closely with my students, and if there’s something you don’t understand, I focus on teaching in a practical, real-world way rather than sticking strictly to textbooks. I’m a huge fan of rock music and love attending festivals and gigs. I believe learning should be fun, and I encourage students to enjoy practising through casual conversations and fun topics. I’ve studied languages the same way, so I understand how you feel and what works best! And also, I'm learning Spanish, Classic Mandarin and Polish at this moment :) With me, every lesson is energetic, positive, and tailored to help you learn with a smile on your face. About the lesson

I have experience working at traditional Japanese companies, which enables me to teach Business Japanese effectively. During my one-year stay at a university in the US, I assisted a Japanese class as a Japanese tutor for one semester, helping students learn the language. I also have experience living in the US and currently reside in the UK, so I can communicate fluently in English to support your learning. My lessons are primarily aimed at adults. Whether you’re a complete beginner or aiming to improve to business-level proficiency, I’m here to help! Lesson durations are flexible and can be adjusted based on your needs, but they typically range from 30 minutes or 1 hour and would be online.

If you want face-to-face lessons, as long as it's in the Manchester city centre area and in case I have some time until the next lessons, I can come out to café! Since I'm not living in Manchester city centre so I might ask you for a transportation fee depending on where we meet. Online lessons are okay anytime and you don't need to pay me for transportation! I'm offering free lessons but it's going to be online. I'm sorry about the inconvenience! If you want me to buy specific textbooks beforehand, it might cost an additional fee as well. However, you can hand me your study material before the lessons as well so that I'm not charging for textbooks. For now, I keep this price if you join me right now but for future students, my price will be increased :) haha
