About Yoshiyuki
I am a Japanese national but somewhat deviated from the standard Japanese because I was educated in Japan, the US, and the UK. I have a master's degree in law. I worked for the United Nations and taught international law in a graduate school.
I'm an earnest book lover, and also a non-fiction writer. You can see my book on Amazon, for which the URL is at the bottom.
Also, I've been playing guitar since I was 14 years old. The main genre I play is classic rock. I traveled to over 70 countries, and now I'm traveling to explore Asian countries.

About the lesson

I will start with the assessment of your level of Japanese proficiency. It’s fine either you are completely new to Japanese, or you are already advanced to some extent.
Then I will make sure where your main focus is around; reading and writing, conversation, or something else, according to which, I will tailor the teaching method.
Finally, I will try to know what your interests or needs are; such as Japanese literature, business Japanese, legal language, etc. If you like works of Japanese novelists such as Haruki Murakami, Yukio Mishima, etc. as I do, I would discuss their Japanese with you, or if you need to study more formal Japanese, I would focus on such Japanese. As I have a law degree, I’m quite proficient in such a language. So it’s up to you how we learn Japanese together!
