About Atsuya
I’m a native Japanese speaker with a background in spatial design, interactive media, and software development. I studied design at university and later worked on interactive experiences for museums, exhibitions, and public spaces. Outside of work, I enjoy photography, traveling, hiking, architecture, museums, technology, games, and discovering new places. I like getting to know each student’s interests and finding topics we can both enjoy, so our conversations feel natural and personal rather than like a formal classroom lesson.

I’m a native Japanese speaker, and my lessons focus on practical, natural Japanese that you can use in real conversations. I adapt each lesson to your level, goals, and interests, whether you are a beginner or already have some experience. We can practice everyday conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, and natural expressions while keeping the lesson relaxed and easy to follow. I also explain how Japanese is actually used in daily life, not only how it appears in textbooks.
