About Siwon
Hello, my name is Siwon! I am a Korean who moved to the United States! Korean is my first language, which was heavily reinforced by my mom, who was also a teacher. While I was born in Korea, I spent a big portion of my life in the States, making me fluent in both Korean and English. I hope to help you learn more about the Korean language!

Depending on the skill level, focus on specific/desired vocabulary will be part of the first portion of the lesson, including writing, pronunciation, and application in a sentence. This will be followed by a grammar lesson where a more in-depth application of the learned vocabulary will be utilized to ingrain the material.
Students with beginner skill sets will start with learning the alphabet, proper writing strokes, and correct pronunciation.
Hanja - the Chinese root words that are incorporated into Hangul will also be reviewed upon students' request.
Working with many students before in various subjects and helping peers lets me hone in on what to work on to make the most progress and improvement.
