About Olivia
Hi! My name is Olivia, and my Korean name is Senoo. I was born and raised in Korea until thirteen. My family and I moved to New York at thirteen. When I first came here, I didn’t know any English but the alphabet. After many struggles, I managed to be fluent in English in just one and a half years. Some of you might question whether or not being exposed to English by living in New York played a big factor for me. Well, one thing I didn’t tell you is that it was during the quarantine when I moved to the States. That being said, I mostly self-studied English to reach fluency. And yes! My methods are helpful for another language! I‘m currently learning Spanish, and I managed to get an A+ all year for AP Spanish. Last but not least, I kept studying Korean after moving here through books and movies. As a Korean, it makes me so happy that people want to learn my language!

I can introduce you to the way I learned English, which I still find very useful when I’m learning another language (currently learning Spanish!)
