About Minji

Native Korean tutor with study abroad experience in Canada and Australia teaches Korean in English for all levels

As a native Korean speaker with extensive international experience, I can help students learn Korean in a natural, comfortable, and effective way. I studied abroad in Canada and am currently completing my second exchange program in Australia, which allows me to understand different cultures and communication styles well. Because of this, I can explain Korean in English clearly and in ways that international students can easily understand.

I have experience working as a private tutor, academy instructor, and teaching assistant, so I am familiar with teaching students of different ages and levels. My lessons are available for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners.

Lessons can focus on everyday conversation, speaking, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation, grammar, and improving overall confidence in Korean. I especially enjoy helping students speak more naturally and comfortably in real-life situations. Business Korean is not my main focus, but I can help with most other areas of Korean learning.

My teaching style is friendly, engaging, and supportive. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes without pressure. I am also responsible and always try to adapt lessons to each student’s goals, interests, and learning pace.

Typical lessons are flexible depending on the student’s needs and goals, and I always try to create a positive and enjoyable learning environment.

I offer Korean lessons in English, covering everyday conversation, reading, writing, and speaking for learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced students. My lessons are flexible and tailored to each student’s goals, whether you want to improve basic communication skills or build overall language fluency.

In my classes, I focus on practical usage and real-life situations, helping students feel comfortable using Korean naturally. I also adapt my teaching style depending on the learner, using clear explanations in English to make the learning process easier and more effective.

Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, but this can be adjusted based on your needs.
