About Sharon

Hi! I'm Sharon, a native Korean speaker from Cheonan, currently studying Law at the University of Birmingham.

I have a real passion for language learning and cultural exchange, which led me to teach Korean for two years as President of the Birmingham Korea Society.

I love connecting with people through conversation and helping them grow in confidence no matter what the goal is. I help students who want to learn Korean for fun, travel, or long-term goals.

Outside of tutoring, you’ll find me playing badminton, watching K-dramas, listening to K-pop, or reading in a cosy café.

I’m always excited to talk about new and interesting topics—so lessons with me are never boring!

About the lesson

My lessons are student-led and tailored to individual goals.
Want to build conversational fluency or improve writing and grammar? Or do you just want to deepen your cultural understanding? I have your back.

I like to incorporate real-life materials such as Korean media, articles, and everyday scenarios to keep lessons engaging and relevant.

A typical lesson will last 60 minutes, but I’m flexible depending on your needs.

I have two years of experience running Korean sessions as President of the Birmingham Korea Society, and have been in this line of work for about a year, working with both beginners and intermediate learners.

My lessons are suitable for teens and adults of all levels, whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills.
