About 보영 BoYoung

I’m a native Korean speaker and writer with a background in Korean Language & Literature. I’m fascinated by how subtle expressions reveal thought and emotion, and I like making Korean feel easy and natural to learn by focusing on how people actually talk, not just what’s in textbooks, so you can enjoy using the language confidently.

About the lesson

I am a kind and patient teacher!

Whenever I learn a foreign language, I realize how important it is to have enough opportunities to speak. That's why I always wait for my students to finish speaking, and I help them correct their Korean naturally.

If you decide to learn Korean with me, we will proceed step by step. First we will have a conversation to evaluate your Korean level and discuss your goals. Then I can adjust my lesson precisely.

During the class, we can either talk about the subject you like- art, travelling, K-culture, food. Or, we can focus on some specific areas - pronunciation, grammar, writing or vocabulary and the others.
In the class, we will use various materials to perfectly suit your needs such as, text books, flash cards, K-pop songs, K-drama, news articles, etc.

After the class, I can also provide correction notes and some useful vocabulary lists for your self-study.
