About SUBIN

Hello! I’m Subin, a Korean tutor currently based in the UK, and I’m excited to be part of your Korean learning journey

I’m 24 years old and genuinely enjoy meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and having meaningful conversations. My goal is to create a comfortable, encouraging, and enjoyable learning environment where students can feel confident and relaxed while learning Korean.

A little about me — I enjoy meditation, walking, and travelling, and I have a calm, patient, and friendly personality. I truly enjoy listening to people and having thoughtful conversations, which helps me build lessons that feel natural, comfortable, and personalised to each student.

Over the years, I have communicated with people from many different countries and have helped others learn Korean in a supportive and friendly way. At the same time, as someone who is also learning English, I deeply understand that learning a new language can sometimes feel exciting, but also intimidating, overwhelming, or even stressful.

Because of this, I wanted to become a Korean tutor who helps students feel more confident and less afraid of making mistakes. I want my students to enjoy learning Korean without pressure and feel supported throughout their journey. My lessons are designed to feel practical, relaxed, and interactive — like learning with a supportive friend, while still making steady progress towards your goals.

Whether you are learning Korean for travel, relationships, Korean culture, daily conversation, work, or TOPIK preparation, I would love to help you build confidence and enjoy the learning process step by step

About the lesson

I offer personalised Korean lessons for students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. Every class is tailored to each student’s goals, level, interests, and learning pace to make learning Korean enjoyable, practical, and effective.

My teaching approach focuses on real-life Korean that students can actually use in everyday situations. Depending on your goals, lessons can include conversation practice, speaking confidence, pronunciation, listening, vocabulary, grammar, travel Korean, Korean culture, and practical expressions used in daily life.

For students preparing for proficiency exams, I also offer structured lessons for TOPIK preparation, including vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and speaking practice based on your current level and target score.

I aim to create a comfortable and relaxed learning environment where students feel confident speaking Korean without pressure. My lessons are friendly and interactive, often feeling like a natural conversation with a friend while still following a clear and structured learning plan.

I use personalised materials and practical examples adapted to each student’s needs. Lessons may include guided conversation, role-play, speaking activities, pronunciation correction, review exercises, and step-by-step practice to help students improve naturally and confidently.

Typical lesson lengths are flexible depending on the student’s preference, but classes are usually around 50–60 minutes. Lessons are suitable for teenagers and adults, from beginner to advanced level, including students learning Korean for travel, relationships, work, Korean culture, daily conversation, or TOPIK exam preparation.
