About Giannella
I am a Peruvian educator, dedicated to teaching conversational Spanish to adults from all backgrounds. I help my students to build confidence and fluency, using real-life scenarios, dialogue exchange, and practical vocabulary. As a second (and third) language learner myself, I can relate to the feeling of frustration you may have when trying to speak and convey everything that is in your mind. Remember that speaking another language is about delivering a clear message and communication. In class, we will do that: communicate, properly learning along the way while enjoying the process. Let me guide you to learn my beautiful language and culture!
I have 15 years of experience teaching Spanish through conversation, with interactive practice to take you from saying "¡Hola!" to explain everything you wish in detail. In class, you will:
- Speak Spanish from day 1.
- Learn grammar structures as you speak, not the other way around.
- Talk about relevant topics to you, with vocabulary and tone tailored to your goals: traveling, working, studying, etc.
- Feel relaxed and ready to engage in conversation, letting behind paralyzing performance anxiety.
- I will create a personalized lesson for you, according to your level of proficiency, if not a total beginner.
- I will provide you with practice materials to master the structures and vocabulary learned in class.
