About Flora
Hi! My name is Flora, and I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker currently studying Construction Management and Property at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney. I have around five months of tutoring experience, teaching students from Year 1 to Year 9 and helping them improve their Mandarin skills. Alongside my studies, I work part-time in the real estate industry, where I have developed strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. I am patient, friendly, and responsible, and I enjoy helping students build confidence while making learning Mandarin both enjoyable and practical. I look forward to supporting students of all ages in achieving their language goals.

My lessons are personalised to each student’s learning goals, age and current language level. I have around five months of experience teaching students from Year 1 to Year 9, helping them improve their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in Mandarin. As a native Mandarin speaker and a Construction Management and Property student at UNSW, I understand the importance of clear communication, patience and structured learning. My experience working in the real estate industry has also strengthened my communication and organisational skills. I create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can build confidence, enjoy learning and make steady progress. Lessons are available online or in person and can be adapted for school support, exam preparation or everyday conversation.
