About Lydia
Hi, this is Lydia! I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker who grew up in Taiwan and have lived and worked in the USA for nine years. I love to have conversations with people who are interested in my culture, and I have experience helping Mandarin learners practice their conversational skills in various topics. As a career coach, I have the patience to guide and teach students and know how to provide relevant resources to help them get better at learning new skills.

This lesson is for students who want to practice conversational skills with a fluent bilingual tutor.
In our sessions, I prioritize interactive and engaging conversations as the cornerstone of learning. By delving into casual dialogue, we not only hone your language skills but also deepen your understanding of the culture and customs. Whether you're eager to discuss travel adventures, navigate business/work scenarios, or learn about cultural differences, I will tailor our discussion to your interests and needs.
My other role as a career coach helps me understand how to create a supportive and dynamic learning environment for my students. My goal is to empower you to confidently practice Mandarin and provide relevant resources to help you advance your cultural knowledge.
