About Kejia

Passionate, patient, and professional—I'm a native Mandarin speaker with a strong background in language teaching and a deep love for sharing Chinese language and culture. With several years of experience working with both children and adults, I offer structured yet flexible lessons tailored to each student's goals and pace.

About the lesson

As a Mandarin tutor and native speaker, I focus on creating engaging, student-centered lessons tailored to individual learning goals. My methodology blends structured language instruction (Pinyin, grammar, vocabulary) with interactive practice (role-play, storytelling, games), helping learners build confidence in speaking and listening.

A typical lesson includes a warm-up review, introduction of new content, guided practice, and a fun cultural element—such as idioms or Chinese traditions—to deepen understanding. I adapt materials to suit each learner's level and interests, from absolute beginners to advanced students preparing for HSK or improving business Mandarin.

What sets me apart is my ability to explain complex language points clearly, my cultural insight, and my warm, encouraging teaching style.

My classes are suitable for children, teens, and adults, whether you're learning Chinese for school, travel, work, or personal interest. I offer lessons in both simplified and traditional characters, depending on your goals.

Kejia's response
she can understand a variety of vocabulary and sentence patterns. She listens attentively and can follow the conversation with good comprehension. She is also very active, open and friendly during the lesson, which makes communication smooth and enjoyable. Expanding her vocabulary for daily life situations and practicing more natural sentence structures will help her express herself more freely.
