Hi, I'm Olivia! Originally from Shanghai, I am a native Mandarin speaker now based in Perth, currently completing my Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education at Southern Cross University.

I bring a highly unique blend of academic rigor and corporate experience to my language teaching. I hold a Master’s degree in Marketing Communications from the University of Melbourne and have co-authored academic journal articles focusing on consumer decision-making. Professionally, I spent years working as a Sales Data Analyst and Operations Manager for a Fortune 500 multinational company (3M). Whether you are a parent looking for structured academic support for your child, or a professional aiming to master business negotiations in Mandarin, I have the right expertise to guide you.

What I Offer:

For K-12 & High School Students:
As a Secondary Education student, I understand how to design engaging, structured lessons that align with Australian curriculum standards, including ATAR preparation. I also bring hands-on, cross-cultural tutoring experience. Previously, I was trusted by my graduate professor to provide tailored conversational Mandarin coaching for their child—a Korean middle school student studying in the US. Through these dedicated sessions, I successfully helped the student build spoken fluency and confidence in a fully cross-cultural context.

For Professionals & Adult Learners (Business Chinese):
Leveraging my corporate management background at 3M and my academic research experience, I offer highly specialized Business Chinese courses.
