About Sabrina

Hello! I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Bioinformatics at the University of Bristol, with a background in Biology. My academic background has equipped me with a structured, analytical approach to learning and clear communication.

Having practised theatre for over six years, I bring an active, expressive, and engaging dynamic to language teaching. I understand that learning a new language can feel intimidating, which is why I focus on building a supportive environment where you feel confident practising, making mistakes, and progressing naturally. Outside of academics and teaching, I am passionate about languages, travel, and exploring different cultures.

About the lesson

Native Spanish Speaker: Deep cultural and linguistic understanding of the language.

Higher Education Background: Strong academic background with experience in structured learning and complex data communication.

Patient & Encouraging Mentorship: Skilled at adapting to different learning speeds and creating a supportive, pressure-free environment for students.

How I Teach & My Tutoring Approach
My Methodology & Teaching Style

I believe that learning a language should be engaging, natural, and structured. My teaching approach focuses on taking you step-by-step ("de la mano") through digestible, real-life examples rather than overwhelming you with dry grammar rules. I break down complex concepts into simple, practical steps so you can build real confidence from day one. Every lesson is interactive and tailored to your personal goals, whether you want to focus on conversational fluency, vocabulary, or grammar fundamentals.

Typical Lesson Structure

A standard session lasts 60 minutes, designed to maximise your learning without fatigue:

* Friendly warm-up and review of previous concepts.
* Introduction of a new topic using clear, relatable examples and visual/interactive aids.
* Guided practice (conversations, exercises, or role-playing scenarios).
* Wrap-up, feedback, and key takeaways for your self-study.

Who My Lessons Are ForMy classes are designed for learners aged 12 and up, from complete beginners ($A1$) to intermediate students looking to sharpen their conversational skills and grammar accuracy.
