Hi! I'm Evgeny — a native Russian speaker who loves languages, communication and modern Russian culture.

I believe learning a language shouldn't feel like studying a boring textbook. My goal is to help you understand not only what Russian words mean, but how Russians actually use them in everyday conversations.

I'm a young, energetic and easy-going person, so my lessons are relaxed and interactive. I enjoy using real-life situations, conversations, memes, slang and modern expressions to make Russian more interesting and easier to remember.

As a native speaker, I can help you with something that textbooks often miss: natural pronunciation, everyday phrases, informal speech and the small differences between “correct Russian” and the Russian people actually use.

Whether you're starting from zero, preparing for a trip, interested in Russian culture, or simply want to finally understand what Russians are saying, I'll adapt the lessons to your goals and level.

Don't worry if your Russian is currently terrible — that's literally what I'm here for lol.

About the lesson

Hi! I'm Evgeny, a native Russian speaker, and my goal is to make Russian feel less intimidating and much more useful in real life.

My lessons are focused on practical, conversational Russian rather than memorizing endless grammar rules. I want my students to be able to actually use Russian — introduce themselves, have a conversation, understand what Russians are saying, and feel comfortable speaking.

I use a simple approach: we learn a new topic, practice it together, and then use it in realistic situations. I also explain the difference between textbook Russian and the way people actually speak in everyday life.

A typical lesson can include:
• a short conversation to warm up
• new vocabulary and useful expressions
• pronunciation practice
• simple grammar explained through real examples
• dialogues and role-play situations
• Russian slang, memes and everyday expressions when appropriate
• a short review at the end of the lesson

What makes my lessons different is that I want you to learn the Russian people actually use. Russian has many expressions that sound strange when translated literally, and knowing when and how to use them is just as important as knowing their dictionary meaning.

I especially enjoy working with beginners (A0–B1), including students who are starting Russian from zero. You don't need to know any Russian before your first lesson.

My lessons are relaxed, energetic and interactive. You can make mistakes — that's part of learning. I will correct you, explain why something sounds natural or unnatural, and help you gradually become more confident speaking Russian.

If your goal is to understand real Russian and eventually speak it naturally, we'll have plenty to work with.
