About Nadya

I was born speaking Russian in Ukraine and moved with my parents to Scotland when I was 10. I have no accent in either English or Russian and pass as a native speaker in both languages. I have always loved reading books and have read many hundreds of them both in English and in Russian. I find it very enjoyable teaching Russian to English speakers and explaining and exploring all the quirks and interesting ways that language works. Russian is a fascinating language and I would love to explore it together with my students!

About the lesson

My lessons are half an hour long. The level I teach is intermediate to advanced speaking Russian and starting from complete beginner written Russian. Lessons are aimed at improving your Russian skills through practice and explanation. They are more of a conversation where we can chat about a subject that interests you and I will identify and correct any mistakes in pronunciation or grammar. I can also teach to read and write Russian and correct written translations.

Lessons can be 30 mins long. I prefer online lessons. If driving to the lesson is required then I will charge an extra £5 per lesson.
