About Mariela
I am a student at Iowa State University with a double major in Horticulture and biology on the path to Veterinary school. This is my first time giving lessons. I am a native English and Spanish speaker, so I am able to effectively translate in between the two as well as having good pronunciation in both. I have also learned braille, tap code and Asl although im a beginner in Asl I still know the alphabet and basic signs. Im currently learning Japanese.

My teaching method is first getting to know each tutee first and make them acquaintance with each other, then we can talk about their current standing in Spanish/English, what the want to go over/learn, and what they need to go over/ learn. With this in mind, I can create a lesson plan that we can follow in order to achieve the goals they have established.
