About Maria
I am a dedicated tutor with a background in Economics and Politics and 2 years of experience teaching A-Level/IB/GCSEs.
I speak 6 languages fluently and am currently learning 8. Having received very little help during my language journey, I wish to democratise the process of learning new languages, as this becomes an immense advantage in school and employment. Via my independent journey, I learnt how to discover what study techniques work for languages, ways to master pronunciation and remembering the vocabulary.
I enjoy helping students build academic confidence after mastering challenging concepts, tailoring my teaching to each individual's learning style, schedules, and goals!
