About Henry
As a tutor, I’d like to know of the subject matter that needs to be learned ahead of time so I can give you an honest assessment whether I can teach it or not. I don’t believe in wasting time and I wouldn’t waste yours. The reason for having the material early is so I can review it and come up with a game plan to maximize teaching for the amount of time we’re together. I use everything and anything as a tool to enhance learning while teaching. Internet, dictionaries, apps to name a few.

I was a tutor for a community college and did private tutoring as well. I have a decent understanding on how to convey information in a fun way in order to keep students engaged and not bored. I tend to use my personal dry erase boards to use visuals as often as possible. My mission is for the student to in a fun, engaging, efficient way.
