About Magdalena
I am an award-winning Spanish language translator and educator with several years of professional teaching experience in the United States and abroad. My Spanish language translations and writing have earned me fellowships and awards from various organizations, most notably PEN America in the US and the literary festival Centroamérica Cuenta in Latin America and Spain. I have worked with students of all ages but my expertise lies with secondary school students (12+) and adults.

Tailored personalized lessons to your level and needs. Lessons can be adapted to the needs of the student and can be as simple as speaking and listening practice as well as tailored lesson plans for reading comprehension and standardized testing preparation. I have experience with IB and AP Spanish curriculum at all levels and am able to support in test preparation for IBDP, AP and SAT Subject Test exams.
