About Jennifer
Jennifer takes a thoughtful, student-centered approach to Spanish instruction that instills confidence and nurtures growth. Lessons are tailored to each learner’s strengths, challenges, and goals. A natural motivator, Jennifer makes learning Spanish fun through engaging activities like dialogue roleplays, music videos, and quiz games.
What truly sets Jennifer apart is a genuine passion for sharing the beauty of the Spanish language and culture. Born to Mexican immigrant parents, Spanish is not just Jennifer's native language but a deeply personal connection. After almost 'loosing' my Spanish in 7th grade because I wasnt actively translating and having deep conversations with my people. I swore I would. never get to the again.

As your Spanish tutor, my goal is to make learning conversational Spanish fun, engaging, and effective. I take a student-centered approach that focuses on your interests and learning style. My lessons are tailored to your level, whether you are a beginner or more advanced student.
In our first lessons, we will focus on building a strong foundation in Spanish phonetics, alphabet, and basic sentence structures. Mastering these basics will allow you to start conversing in Spanish more quickly. We will also focus on other areas such as these: Gendered Articles and Adjectives, Regular Verb Conjugations versus Irregular, and questions formations amongst a number of things.
Because this is a tailored lesson, and not everyone learns the same, feel free to express your best method of retention. For ex. "im a visual learner" or "conversational dialogue works best for me.."
Overall, because curriculum is designed for a wide range of ages and skill levels. Complete beginners benefit from the emphasis on fundamentals. More advanced students gain stronger grammar, vocabulary and fluency.
